Do You Show Gratitude To Others

What does it really mean to be grateful?
Do you show gratitude every day?

Are you even aware that you should appreciate each day and show kindness to others?

Being grateful will change the way you view life.
It will change your attitude toward people around you, and the  people that you cross paths with daily.

Sadly most people go through life being very self centered not being grateful and not showing gratitude daily not even being conscious of the fact that they should show gratitude to others.

Gratitude is an attitude that should be a part of your mindset, the way you think.

A humble person shows gratitude to others, because they realize the kindness that is extended to them in many ways.

Weather you receive kindness from someone providing a service to you or directly showing kindness for any other reason that is a cause to show gratitude.

The more you show gratitude the more you will receive.

The more you share what you have with others more will be returned to you in abundance.

Have you ever noticed that stingy ungenerous people who are always holding on to what they have as if those things are their life never have any abundance in their lives.

The more kindness you show to others the more kindness will be returned to you.

So it is beneficial to be grateful and extend kindness and gratitude to others daily.

You will have an abundance of that which you are grateful for in your life and you will receive a plentiful of that which you give and share with others.

Therefore if you appreciate what you have in your life and you are sharing with others you should not have lack.

But, if you have serious lack in areas in your life weather it be money, love, etc you should take note of those areas and see if you are generous and grateful.

When you travel do you lack appreciation for services that is being rendered to you were you lodge for comfort during your hotel stay.

Do you really show appreciation for room service, to the individual that tends to your room and tidy up after you, or do you show ungratefulness by being unnecessary sloppy, maybe even making your room filthy with food, trash, leaving a mess on the floors with clothing etc.
Not appreciating the finer things in life that are suppose be enjoyable and pleasant.

Do you soil the bed with food being so self consumed and inconsiderate of the fact that someone else will use that room after you check out.

The service industry weather be restaurant , hotel, taxi all are opportunities to show gratitude and appreciation to others.
Saying thank you verbally or monetarily goes a long way to those on the receiving end.

Never should you show a rude ungrateful attitude to those that work to provide a service to you.

Every person is of important and should be shown gratitude with thanks especially those that work hard in the service industry, room service, housekeepers, bellman, food servers, taxi drivers.

I’m giving particular attention to the hospitality industry because it is a fact that this industry is the most under rated and non-appreciated by people who travel and vacation stay at resorts and hotel.

It is alarming  the rate of individuals that travel for business or vacation who display a rude ungrateful attitude towards the hotel  staff that service their rooms by not tipping or saying a courteous thank you to them for their hard work to make their stay comfortable and relaxed by tidying up after them, or serving them food.

How sad so many people do not share or even say thank you.

It is just courteous and polite to show kind gratitude to others who work in occupations of service and to acknowledge those intelligent individuals who have chosen to work in that occupation for different reason.
Students, mothers, seniors etc. all are worthy to be given much gratitude and respect for what they do to provide service to you.

So the next time you lodge at a hotel for your stay, be kind and acknowledge the hard work that others do to provide service to you.

Say Thank You

And don’t forget to tip.

What is Your Dream?

“If You Can Dream It. You Can Do It” (Walt Disney)

A dream is a vision of your desires something that you long for to be a reality.
Each person’s Dream is unique like a fingerprint, and for that reason, no one else has your same dream.

Your dream is uniquely designed and created in your mind with your imagination which is motivated by your desires and longings.

Every person on earth was born with a Dream for his or her life.
(Bruce Wilkinson) “The Dream Giver”

Just like your personality traits are unique to whom you are…….. your dreams has been woven into your being from birth. (Bruce Wilkinson) “The Dream Giver”

Your dream was to draw you toward the kind of life you were born to love.
(Bruce Wilkinson) "The Dream Giver"

Are You Living Your Dream?

Have you made your dream a reality?

Or did you give up and abandon your dream?

Sadly most people never made their dream a reality.

Somewhere along the way their thoughts got distracted off that Dream , they  stopped believing that is was possible to live their dream.

As time put obstacles in their path they just gave up and abandoned their Dream and live a life of unfulfilled dissatisfaction.

The worst part is that they don’t realize that their Dream is still there waiting for them to claim it.

Dreams don’t have an expiration date......  It is never too late to claim your dream and make them a reality.
Once a Dream is created in your mind, it exist forever.

No one can claim your Dream. Your Dream stays waiting for you  because they exist in your mind and in your heart.

Awaken Your Belief....

Go back in your thoughts when you first thought about your Dream, what it would be like to live that Dream.  Remember how exited you felt, how positive you felt about your Dream coming true.

You must awaken your belief in your Dream again, and continue to pursue it.  It does not matter how much time has passed. Your Dream is still waiting for you to claim it.

Just reach back into your memory and remember when you first thought about your Dream, what you really desired and longed for, what you wanted your life to be like.

Everyone has something uniquely special about them. Everyone has a special gift.
Life tends to beat you up and push you around as a result, some people have grown weary, too weary to fight back and have long forgotten about their Dream.

As a result in order to minimize and avoid any more turbulence and disappointment life winds could bring they have taken a quiet seat in the corner of life so that life’s winds will not disturb their comfort zone.

They just choose to exist in their corner of life because it is safe there, rather than continue in the jungle of uncertainty in journey to reach their Dream.

It is also evident by the words they use that  belief in their Dream was shattered.
They use words of I can’t and It’s impossible to validate to themselves reasons for giving up.

The Question........

Will you let life’s destructive winds beat you up so bad that you abandon your Dream and retreat to a safe corner of life?

Or will you continue to fight for your Dream with the determination never to Give up.

You were meant to live the kind of life you love.

Go Claim Your Dream!!!

Why Complain?

Do You Fnd Yourself Constantly Complaining?

How does it make you feel?

You probably don’t feel tremendously happy and at ease.

Here’s the reason........

Complaining serves no purpose.

Some people feel the need to complain in order to express their dissatisfaction about some circumstance or situation that have occurred in which they are not pleased about.

But why complain?

When you think about it, what does complaining really accomplish?

Nothing! Nothing at all.

Does complaining solve the problem? No

So why complain?

Complaining is a negative emotion and negative emotions brings about  negative behavior that will in turn set off a chain reaction of cause and effect.

Complaining reinforces the negative thoughts about that which you are displeased with into your mind over and over.

Complaining just replays the occurrence repeatedly in your thoughts to the point where it can create frustration.

The frustration begins because your mind now believes that the problem is a huge problem that will not go away.

Your mind is now convinced that the problem is so huge that the only way to get relief….. is to verbalize the dissatisfaction by complaining.

Complaining just keeps validating the problem in your mind.

Plus complaining just makes you feel worse because it brings along a host of other negative emotions anger, hopelessness, fear, bitterness, etc.

Complaining just keeps your thoughts and emotions going in circles, never bring you any true relief because the problem has not been solved and you still feel a sense of dissatisfaction.

So the next time you feel the urge to constantly complain,

Stop! And think……

Complaining is not the solution

Always be in the solution never focus on the problem.

For every problem there is a solution

If you are dissatisfied about any situation take time to think and find a solution and then take thoughtful action toward the solution

….... soon the problem will just vanish

Then you will feel a sense of satisfaction. :)

The words you speak reflect the things you think.

"Everything begins with a thought". (Ralph Waldo Emerson)
"You are today where your thoughts have brought you. You will be tomorrow where your thoughts take you". (James Allen)
Thoughts are Powerful! They reveal a lot about a person.
"Achievement comes from the habit of good thinking." (John C. Maxwell)

Have you ever pondered over the dynamics of thought? Mainly your own thoughts. Do you realize that the way you think impacts every aspect of your life. Whatever you fix your thoughts upon or steadily focus you mind on, that is what you will attract.

Your mind can take you to heights of greatness and achievements and also can reduce you to the lowest pits of existence and disastrous consequences.

Great thoughts Produce Great Results. Disastrous thoughts leads to disastrous results.

Therefore it is vital to embrace the value of good thinking.
John C. Maxwell said in Thinking For A Change "good thinking creates the foundation for good results".
So it is important to make good thinking a daily habit.
If you want to get satisfying results in your life, you must become a great thinker.
The quality of your thinking leads to the quality of the results you get in life.

Are you satisfied with the results you are getting in your life? If not then you must improve your thinking because thoughts leads to actions and actions all have an end result, positive or negative.
How you think is how you behave and how you behave is who you are.

"If you desire to rise beyond your circumstancesm to move up to another level in your career and personal life, then you need to take the advice of Jack Welch. And that is to become the best thinker you can be. It can revolutionize your life." (Thinking For A Change)

"If you don't like the crop you are reaping, you need to change the seed you are sowing" (John C. Maxwell)

James Allen stated "You are today where your thoughts have brought you. You will be tomorrow where your thoughts take you".
William A Ward said that "small thinking limits achievement".

So consider this, as Benjamin Disraeli said " you will never go higher than your thoughts. So in order to get better satisfying results in life you must become a great thinker and focus on progress always being mentally alert and keeping a positive attitude.
Personal growth and self improvement will help you get the results you desire. But you must first open your mind and grow. Think improvement, think high standards and think progress in everything you do. Be conscious to keep a positive mental attitude and avoid negative thinking.

Negative thinking is like poison to the mind. It kills all productive thinking habits.
Your life is your thinking and the results of your thinking processes.
Your mind and what you think makes you what you are.

Life is 10% what happens to you, 90% is how you react to what happens.
What happens to you is not important, it's what you do about what happens that determines the results you get in life.

Watch your thoughts
they become words

Watch your words
they become actions

Watch your actions the become habits

Watch you habits
they become character
Watch your character it becomes yours destiny

What you are outward reflects what you are inward.
Your thoughts reveal outward the way you think inward.
Your character reveals the way you think.
Stay in control of your thoughts because they are the results of your life.
